Silvermount Audio, a new NKI Partner, releases a 5-string bass sample library made for the Kontakt Player.
Torus Bass contains over 6000+ samples and 10 articulations with 'alternate pick' and 'select string' functions. It also offers an interactive fretboard and a fully-featured dual signal chain for saturation separation for complete tone control, straight out the box. FX modules include compressor, limiter, distortion and dual cabinets.
Articulations in detail are 'normal pick', 'palm mute', 'dead notes',
'slap', 'harmonics', 'tap' and 'pull-offs', 'pick scrape', 'left hand percussion' and 'scratch all strings', with additional slide up & down samples.
For all 'select string' functions, the notes follow a logical progression after the 24th fret until the end of the range, and for added realism, miscellaneous samples such as 'fret release' and 'note stop' are also included.
